WELCOME TO

The MTB Collective

The MTB Collective is a not-for-profit, community-focused mountain bike club based in Plymouth, Devon, UK, providing exciting outdoor trail-riding experiences for young people aged 8 to 17.

Our Rides

Our experienced and fully qualified mountain bike leaders take young people, aged 8 to 17 years old, on off-road adventures in and around the Plymouth area…and sometimes a bit further afield!

Our group rides usually contain a mixed range of abilities ranging from beginners to more advanced trail riders. We group participants by skill level, so that nobody is left feeling bored or self-conscious about their skill level or ability.

We have experience working with riders who have physical and/or mental challenges and we can often accommodate riders with these conditions within our groups. Please feel free to contact us, in confidence, to discuss your needs and we’ll advise accordingly.

We usually ride every Sunday, between 10am – 2pm, often starting at Coypool near Plympton.

Want to join us for a ride?

All you need to do is download our New Rider Consent Form and our Code of Conduct form which we ask all of our riders and parents/carers to read and adhere to.

Once you have completed the New Rider Consent Form please return it to us by email membershipmtbc@gmail.com and please don’t forget to read the Frequently Asked Questions on the last page of the consent form.

Once we’ve received the completed ‘New Rider Consent Form, we’ll send you details of how to book a ride via the SPOND App that we use. The weekly ride notifications are sent to all riders on SPOND and spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis.

We charge £7.00 for the introductory ride and we ask that this is paid electronically once you have a confirmed space on a ride, prior to the ride itself (we’ll send you our bank details via email so you can make this happen).

Hopefully, you’ll have a fantastic time on your first ride and will want to come back for more. Assuming this is the case, we’ll ask you to pay an annual membership fee of £20.00 plus £7.00 for every subsequent ride that you go on.do

Just a heads up. I was chatting to Isla and Willow out on the trail today. We’ve been thrashing out ideas on a pasty oven that is powered by pedal power and helped by an ebike battery. You pedal for your pasty. We will split the shares if we become millionaires. We are looking for investment. 😂 😂 ... See MoreSee Less
